JAMMU, Nov 3: Due to the negligence of authorities in Super Speciality Hospital Jammu, a woman, 58, is struggling between life and the death.
Sources informed that on the fateful morning of November 1, 2025, the victim lady stepped into the lift on third floor of the hospital and the lift started moving all of a sudden and she got struck in the machine.
After those standing near the place raised an alarm, the guards reached the spot and it took them 15 minutes to rescue the lady.
“From then she is in unconscious state and is battling for life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital,” eye witnesses of the incident said adding that relatives of the lady were in utter shock.
They claimed that there was even no lift operator or guard at the place.
“If the lift had some technical snag, the hospital authorities should have displayed the same on the lift so that none could risk life,” they asserted.
