JAMMU, Aug 3: A woman was raped inside her house in Tehsil Bishnah.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a woman with Police Station Arnia stating that on July 12 this year, a man identified as Anchal Kumar, son of Babu Ram, a resident of Malikpur Tehsil Bishnah entered into her house and raped her. Before escaping from the spot, the accused threatened her of dire consequence if she narrated the ordeal to anyone.
Acting over the complaint and on the directions of the JMIC Bishnah, a case under FIR Number 73/2022 under sections 376, 452 and 506 IPC has been registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation is going on.
