JAMMU, Nov 30: A 70-year-old woman was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle here at Katal Batal area of Nagrota.
Krishna Devi wife of Charan Dass of Katal Batal was admitted to Government Medical College Jammu on November 26 after she was hit by an unknown vehicle near her home, officials said.
“She succumbed to her injuries today,” they said.
While the body has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Nagrota to further probe into the matter.
