RAMBAN, Feb 8: A woman sustained injuries due to an accidental gunshot incident at her residence in village Dhuthan here last night.
Police sources informed that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, information was received through a reliable source that an accidental gunshot incident had occurred at village Dhuthan in which a lady Shobna Devi, 36, wife of Sewa Singh sustained injuries at her home.
Family members immediately shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur from where she was referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated investigation.
