JAMMU, Nov 18: A woman was found hanging this morning at a Government quarter in Peer Mitha area of Jammu.
According to police sources, the deceased was identified as 32-year-old Sunita Devi wife of Balbir Singh, resident of Malli (Uttarkhanad). Sources said the woman was found hanging at quarter number 9 at CM House, Wajharat Road, Jammu.
“No suicide note was recovered from the spot,” sources said, adding, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities while inquest proceeding in the case was initiated by Peer Mitha Police.
According to sources, the woman was living in the Quarter along with her husband who was working as cook in CM House.
