DODA, Sept 16: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances from bank of river Chenab near Shiva Dal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Thathri Police Station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Bagu Begum (55), wife of Chatu Gujjar, a resident of Alnie Gangotha, Tehsil Gandoh, District Doda.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased woman has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
In this regards inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated by Thathri Police.
