JAMMU, July 7: A woman died of poisoning in Pallanwala area of Akhnoor sector.
“Toshi Devi (45) wife of Ashok Kumar, resident of Pallanwala) died here at Government Medical College, Jammu early this morning,” a police official said, adding, she allegedly consumed poison substance.
He said after getting conducted postmortem of the deceased woman, her body was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding was initiated in this connection by police post Pallanwala.
