RAJOURI, Oct 17: A woman lost her life after falling from an e-rickshaw on Bela Road in Rajouri here today.
The deceased has been identified as Sadia Akhter (49), wife of Talib Hussain, resident of Lah. According to reports, the woman accidentally fell from the moving e-rickshaw and sustained serious injuries.
She was immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri by locals, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After completing all the legal formalities, including postmortem examination, the body was handed over to the family for last rites.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated an investigation.
