BHADERWAH, Jan 7: A woman was killed on the spot here today after being hit by a rashly driven vehicle.
According to reports, a minibus bearing registration number JK06B-1638, driven by one Rohan Bhagat, son of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Linga Dandi, Bhaderwah, hit the pedestrian Bimla Devi, 70, wife of Hari Lal, resident of Chinchora, Bhaderwah killing her on the spot.
Soon after the accident, locals gathered at the spot and with the help of cops shifted the accident hit lady to hospital where she was declared as brought dead.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
