SAMBA, Sept 30: A woman was crushed by a train at Barian, here today.
As per police sources, Rano Devi, wife of Babu Ram, a resident of Indira Colony, Barian, Samba died on the spot when she got accidentally hit by Pathankot bound Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) at Barian.
The body was shifted to the mortuary of the district hospital and after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
