JAMMU, Jan 24: Janipur Police arrested two drug peddlers including a woman along with 10 grams heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO West Amit Sharma and SP City PD Nitya arrested two drug peddlers including a lady along with 10 grams heroin valuing Rs 5 lakh in the international market.
The arrested persons were identified as Radha Devi, wife of Mohit Baba of Shant Nagar, Janipur and Vikramjeet Singh, son of Suram Singh of Janipur Colony.
A case under FIR Number 10/2021 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
