KATRA, Jan 1: In the case of mysterious death of a young man at the house of his in-law at Katra, Police has arrested wife of the deceased and six other members of the in-laws.
As the Katra Police was allegedly trying to hush up the death case, family members of the deceased had approached court, following which the inquest proceeding was converted into murder case.
Deceased Rajesh Kumar of Birpur was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the house of his in-laws, more than a year back. He was allegedly poisoned to death by the in-laws.
Even as Police is still hesitating to share details of the case, sources said that wife of the deceased, her parents, brother, sister and co-brother among seven persons of the family have been taken into custody for interrogation.
