SRINAGAR: Taking a potshot at the US over reports that it has reiterated its support to India’s permanent membership of the UN security council, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said where exactly has America’s support manifested itself in to concrete action.
“Where exactly has US “support” for India’s permanent membership of the UN security council manifested itself in to concrete action” Mr Abdullah, who is the working president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to reports that US President Barak Obama has reiterated the support that he has publicly articulated in favour of India being a permanent member of the UN Security Council. (UNI)
