JAMMU, May 2: Fire destroyed standing wheat crops spread over five kanals of land in Karpalpur in Ramgarh Sector of Samba district today.
The fields belonged to Vijay Kumar S/o Khem Raj of Karpalpur. The entire wheat crop was destroyed due to the fire. However the fire tender reached the spot and controlled the fire from spreading to other fields. The cause of the fire was not known.
