SRINAGAR, Dec 3: The Weatherman today predicted light snowfall and rains next week, saying that there is less possibility of rain or snowfall tomorrow.
Director Meteorological Department (MeT), Sonum Lotus, said that there is less possibility of rains or snowfall in the Valley tomorrow.
However, he said that the weather would mostly remain cloudy throughout the day in plains while the higher reaches may receive light rain or snowfall.
Lotus said that there is forecast of light to moderate rainfall or snowfall in the higher reaches of the Valley in between December 7 and 8. “The plains would also receive light rain or snowfall during the period,” he said.
The MeT spokesman said the night temperature across the Valley witnessed further dip today, saying that the minimum temperature was recorded below normal in Kashmir.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded minus 1.4 degree Celsius temperature last night.
