It is heartening to note that the State Finance Minister has shown utmost concern for the welfare and dignity of the girls and proposed a monthly scholarship like incentive for a girl child up to her age of 14 in his maiden Budget speech. This step not only shall raise the esteem of a girl child in the society but silence those conservative views about a girl child which are not treating her at par with the male ones.
The Finance Minister needs to be congratulated and with a request to announce many measures to encourage and empower the girl students in various ways to be beneficial for the society as well as the country. Jand K has shown the way , the right way to all concerned in this matter.
