KATHUA, Apr 12: To celebrate the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and to promote spiritual and cultural values in society, a seven-day religious festival will formally commence from April 13 here.
This was announced by Shri Brahmin Sabha Kathua, during a press conference held on Sunday. It shared the detailed outline of the upcoming celebrations of Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti.
The press briefing was conducted under the leadership of Sabha President, Surinder Mehta, who informed that the celebrations are being organized by the Sabha.
According to the organizers, a series of religious activities will be held throughout the week, including traditional rituals, devotional Bhajan-Kirtan programmes, and spiritual discourses. Devotees from Kathua and nearby areas are expected to participate in large numbers.
The event will culminate on April 19 with a grand Shobha Yatra (religious procession), which will pass through the main areas of Kathua, showcasing deep devotion and cultural vibrancy.
The Sabha has invited all devotees and residents to actively participate in the celebrations and seek the blessings of Bhagwan Parshuram.
