JAMMU, July 19: Department of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) organized a webinar on newer philosophies, techniques and appliances for faster and more efficient correction of human jaws and teeth.
Presenting welcome address, Dr Akshay Gupta, HoD Department of Orthodontics talked about the tumultuous phase through which this world is passing by due to COVID and how this era has transformed the usual modes of learning as this Novel Corona virus has taught everyone to continue learning globally in novel ways.
He also emphasized that this pandemic is giving us an opportunity to build the knowledge base at the comforts of our homes and this will help us to rise ourselves to the future days of glory with more energy and knowledge.
Dr Sanjay Labh, an international acclaimed speaker and invited guest of the day, presented an exhaustive three-hour presentation and live demo videos through online mode.
Principal of the Institution, Dr Rakesh Gupta said that in the future too such online globally learning programmes will be organized to raise the name of Government Dental College Jammu to the national and international platform.
The webinar concluded with vote of thanks presented by Dr Arvind and Dr Ritesh Gupta.
