RAJOURI, July 17: Government Degree College Kotranka today organised webinar on the topic, “Career opportunities in Economics” under the guidance of College Principal, Dr Rajinder Singh.
The webinar was organized by the Department of Economics under the aegis of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” wherein students from different colleges participated. Professor Qyoom Chouhan, Assistant Professor Government College for Women Parade Jammu was the resource person for the event.
Delivering his lecture, Prof Chouhan discussed in detail the career opportunities in economics for the students and mentioned that the students of economics have ample career opportunities from academics, civil services, think tanks and private sector.
College Principal, Dr Rajinder Singh asked the students to explore the career opportunities in different sectors as elaborated by the guest speaker. The programme was ended with a vote of thanks presented by Dr Mohd Mushtaq, Nodal Officer of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’.
