JAMMU, Mar 24: The Annual General Meeting of We Care Welfare Society (WCWS) was conducted today with a comprehensive review of the organization’s activities over the past year and plans for the upcoming year.
The meeting was chaired by Rajinder Gupta, general secretary, who provided an overview of the programs and initiatives undertaken by the society throughout the year. He also outlined the key programs planned for the upcoming year.
Kuldeep Uppal, secretary finance, presented the budget for the year 2023-24, which was unanimously approved by the members present.
Dr R K Gupta, president of WCWS, offered a detailed review of the society’s overall performance and its impact in the community.
Sudershan Gupta, vice president (women) highlighted the significant role played by the women’s group in successfully implementing various programs of the society.
Nikhil Gupta, information secretary, emphasized the crucial role of media in raising awareness about the role of NGOs in society and promoting the society’s activities.
Prof M S Nargal, Chairman, concluded the meeting by delivering the vote of thanks and mentioning several new schemes and projects that the society aims to undertake in the coming years.
Founded in 2018, WCWS has been dedicated to charitable work in service of humanity.
Its key activities include organizing medical camps in remote areas for the underprivileged, serving breakfast every Sunday to hospital attendants and patients in Government hospitals and regularly distributing usable clothes to those in need.
