JAMMU, Oct 30: Major General Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva, with almost four decades of distinguished service superannuated today and relinquished the appointment of ADG NCC Directorate JK&L. The General Officer was accorded a ceremonial farewell at the NCC Directorate located on Canal Road. In an illustrious span of 37 and a half years, the Officer has qualified prestigious courses and held appointments across the operational and administrative spectrum. During his tenure as ADG, he propelled NCC Units to higher achievements and glory. The NCC Directorate reached glorious heights during his tenure.
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) today accorded a warm farewell to the retiring officials at a function held here at Conference Hall SKUAST-J Chatha. The function was organized under the leadership of Prof B N Tripathi, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu who was the chief guest on the occasion. During the function, retiring officials– Om Prakash, FCLA, Division of Agronomy and Rakesh Kumar, Plumber Estates Division, honoured for their contribution in the growth and development of University. Prof Tripathi and other officers/officials of the University wished the retirees healthy and happy post retired life.
