JAMMU, Jan 30: Warm send off was accorded to the retiring officers today.
Shafiq Ahmed Raina, Commissioner Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation, Reconstruction (DMRRR) and Tribal Affairs was accorded a warm farewell by the officers and staff of Relief Commissioner (Migrants) J&K and the officers and staff of DMRRR Department, on the occasion of his superannuation from service. The function was presided over by the Minister for Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Floriculture Javaid Mustafa Mir. On the occasion, Raina was felicitated with mementos and shawl by the Minister, on behalf of the Relief Commissioner (Migrants) and separately by the DMRRR Department, as well. Present on the occasion were Relief Commissioner (Migrants) ML Raina, Chief Executive Officer JTFRP, Vinod Sharma, Director (Finance) Zahoor Ahmed Wani, Director Estates J&K, Tasaduq Jeelani, Deputy Commissioner (Migrants) KK Sidha, etc.
Deputy Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today extended warm send off to the Deputy Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Ghulam Mohi-Din Bhat who is retiring on superannuation from the Government service tomorrow. Deputy Speaker said that Bhat worked with utmost dedication and honesty in the Assembly Secretariat during his service career in different levels. The House offered best wishes for post-retirement life of the employee.
Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) today accorded affectionate send off to Joint Director Information (Headquarters) Abdul Majid Zargar and CCD Mohammad Yaqoob Najar on their superannuation. A warm farewell was organized by DIPR staff to commemorate their dedicated and diligent services in the Department. Director Information, Muneer-ul-Islam, senior officers and officials of the Department were present at the farewell function.
Chief Planning Officer Samba, Kewal Krishan Khajuria was accorded an affectionate send off on his superannuation after rendering more than 39 years of service in various departments here today.
In this regard, a farewell function was organized which was attended by ADC Tilak Raj Sharma, District Officers and other officials from Planning and Statistics Department, who wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Hari Krishan Verma, Head Assistant, Directorate of Agriculture Jammu was given a warm and affectionate send off on his retirement from service after putting in 36 long years of service in different capacities in the Department of Agriculture. HK Razdan, Director Agriculture Jammu on the occasion complimented Verma for rendering dedicated services and wished him a very happy and prosperous post retirement life. RL Bhagat, Joint Directors of Agriculture (Extension), Ashok Kumar Bazaz, SMS (DL), Surinder Kumar Sapru, Agriculture Extension Officer, Soil Survey Scheme, Madan Paul Sharma, Junior Agriculture Extension Officer, Kalakote and many others were present on the occasion. A memento was presented to Verma in the farewell programme on behalf of the Department as a mark of honor and affection.
SKUAST-teaching Association Jammu (SKUAST-TAJ) accorded warm farewell to Dr SK Kher, Professor, Division of Extension Education on his superannuation after rendering distinguished services for more than 35 years. VC SKUAST-Jammu Dr Pradeep K Sharma, President Teaching Association Vikas Sharma, Statutory Officers, HoDs, faculty members of varsity, Dr JP Sharma, Director Research and many others listed the achievements and contributions of Dr Kher.
A farewell has been accorded to Rajneesh Gupta, Senior Pharmacist of Medical Unit Jammu on attaining the age of superannuation. Chief Engineer PW (R&B) Department Jammu bid farewell to Sukhjit Singh, Assistant Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Sub Division Marh, who rendered 37 years of services in different capacities in the department of PWD (R&B). A function was organized at conference hall of Lok Nirman Bhawan, Rail Head Complex, Jammu, wherein Superintending Engineer, Jammu-Kathua circle and Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) Construction Division Number I, II, III and officials of the department extended best wished to the retiring officer.
Warm farewell was accorded to Dr Kranti Kumar Sharma, Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Dr Ram Chander Sharma, Joint Director (Farms) Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Narinder Singh, Assistant Livestock Officer and Madan Lal Raina, Flock Inspector, who retired from the Government services on attaining the age of superannuation.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Sumesh Bhargav and Sat Bhushan Sharma, Assistant Registrars and Ashok Kumar, Head Assistant who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. The farewell was held in appreciation of their services rendered to the Institution. The function was attended by many employees of the University.
