JAMMU, Feb 28: A warm and heartfelt farewell was organized today for Prem Singh, Divisional Seed Certification Officer (DSCO) Jammu, who retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service to the Agriculture Department. The farewell ceremony brought together staff and officers from the Agriculture Department Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture Arvinder Singh Reen eloquently highlighted the exemplary service rendered by Prem Singh over the years. The ceremony was also attended by family members, friends, and colleagues from various districts, who conveyed their best wishes for Prem Singh’s future endeavours.
A heartfelt send off was organized at Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar to bid farewell to Principal Dr S P Sarswat, who retired today after serving the Higher Education Department for 35 years in various capacities. The farewell function was attended by principals of GCW Parade, GDC Basholi, GDC Sidhra, SPMR College of Commerce and Dr Naveen Anand, Dean Cluster University of Jammu. As Dr Sarswat embarked on a new journey post-retirement, the academic fraternity wished him a fulfilling and enriching future.
