RAJOURI, Feb 3: Police arrested an absconder by conducting raid at village Mehari Gujraan in district Rajouri last night.
A police spokesman said that one Abdul Rehman, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Mehari Gujran, was wanted by Rajouri police in case FIR No. 54/2015 under Sections 279/337 / 338 RPC. He was evading arrest for the last nearly one year.
Police party from Rajouri, acting on a specific information conducted a raid at the village and nabbed Abdul Rehman last night. He was put in the police lock up at Rajouri Police Station.
