JAMMU, Dec 14: Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar is visiting Jammu for his participation as chief guest in the special convocation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University on December 27.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have also agreed to attend the convocation wherein approximately 900 Degrees and around 30 Medals as well as 20 certificates of distinction will be presented to the eligible pass outs of SMVDU.
SMVDU has finalized all the preparations for the scheduled convocation while the Government of J&K has appointed Rashmi Singh, Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Department, as the Nodal Officer to coordinate the Vice-President’s visit.
