Those who voted for BJP feeling depressed: Manohar

KATHUA, Oct 9: Former minister  and senior Congress leader, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has alleged that those who voted for BJP are now feeling depressed.
Addressing  meeting of  BCC Billawar at Pacca Kotha today, the former minister said  that BJP has totally stood exposed in the State and also at the Centre. Now, the people, who voted for BJP and its associates are feeling depressed.
Dr Sharma said that Modi’s GST has proved a big failure due to lack of proper planning and home work before its implementation. He said that  implementation without preparation is creating more problems for everyone including businessmen and daily consumers of the country.
Coming down heavily on BJP Government, over the negative effects shown by GST instead of  positive, he  claimed  that every sector has been badly hit. It has  badly effected  job generation and a large number of employees are losing their jobs in private sector. He said that the prices of almost all commodities have  shown increasing trend.
Congress leader further said that the  `BJP-PDP alliance’ here and Modi Government at the Centre  stood exposed before people even on Article 370. “BJP has endorsed double tax system by passing GST Act by amending Section 5 of sub section 3 of J&K Constitution,” he added.
He also assailed BJP leaders  and their role for not  withdrawing Toll Tax at  Lakhanpur Check Post.  He said that BJP is working totally against the interest of poor, farmers, unemployed youths and working class in the country.
Former MLC  and DCC Kathua president, Subash Gupta criticized BJP for adding woes of the people by taking some wrong decisions like demonization, GST and withdraw of subsidy on levy sugar, ration, LPG gas and kerosene oil without keeping in view the condition of people living below poverty line.
He accused BJP for its failure to provide jobs to lakhs of educated unemployed youth who are eagerly waiting even for more than three and half years of Modi’s Government.
