REASI, Mar 21: A stitching and beautician course organized by the Army for the women of village Mangiote, concluded today.
The four-week vocational training course was conducted by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Kalal under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi.
The initiative was taken under project Sadhbhavna as a part of women empowerment in remote areas.
The training capsule was attended by 20 women from the region. Today, on concluding day of the course, the women were given information and guidance about assistance to set up small business ventures.
