KISHTWAR, Mar 9: Vital records were gutted in a mysterious fire here at HR Office of Dul Hasti Project of NHPC this morning.

As per reports, flames were seen coming out of the wooden building of HR office in morning at around 5 am after which Fire and Emergency Services along with the Police were informed but by the time fire fighters reached the spot, whole structure of the office was in flames.
Three fire tenders, including one of NHPC, were pressed into service and it took several hours to douse the flames.
In-charge Fire Station Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed said that they received information about fire at around 5.26 in the morning and responding quickly they reached the spot.
Though the flames were prevented from spreading to nearby structures including NHPC GM Office but the HR Office and the vital record along with other valuable material kept there could not be saved.
