JAMMU, Feb 12: On the occasion of Shri Vishwakarma Prakat Divas on “Magh Shukal Traodashi,” Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha JK UT opened its newly constructed sub office at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, situated in Vishwakarma Temple complex.
The new office was inaugurated by Puran Chargotra former president of the Sabha in presence of Shashi Verma, president of the Sabha and many other dignitaries of the community.
While speaking on the occasion Chargotra said that it was his dream to have such a big hall for the Sabha which has now been completed purely with the contribution of public donations. He appreciated the key role played by Shashi Verma in construction of this hall.
Verma appealed to the govt to declare Gazetted Holiday on Vishwakarma Jayanti so that employees of the community can celebrate Vishwakarma Puja wholeheartedly. He also reiterated the demand of restoration of scholarship of OBC students.
