VIP ‘Glamping’ Tent at Dehra Ki Gali gutted

Rajouri, April 3: A major fire incident was reported at the popular tourist destination of Dehra Ki Gali today, resulting in significant damage to a newly constructed VIP Glamping tent that was yet to be inaugurated.

According to sources, the Glamping tent had been constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹21 lakhs. The structure was suddenly engulfed in flames under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained, causing substantial losses to the concerned party.

Personnel from the Army promptly reached the spot and made determined efforts to control the fire. Despite their swift response, the blaze caused extensive damage, particularly to the internal layers and overall structure of the tent.

Senior officers and officials rushed to the site for assessing the extent of the damage. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is likely to be initiated.

The incident has raised concerns regarding safety measures and fire preparedness at newly developed tourist facilities in the region.
