UDHAMPUR, May 17: A Sambar calf was rescued by villagers of Gundhar and handed over to the Wildlife Department.
According to the reports, villagers of Gundhar in Darsoo rescued Sambar’s calf from stray dogs and informed the Wildlife Department following which Range Officer Mahesh Abrol sent a team.
The Wildlife team providing took the calf to veterinary hospital Udhampur and provided first aid after which it was brought to Tandey Control Room.
