UDHAMPUR, May 31: Up in arms against closure of Medical Aid Centre (MAC) at village Nali Nikka in block Pancheri, the locals held a strong protest demonstration, here today.
The protesting villagers raised slogans against the Medical Department authorities and demanded stern action against the erring officials, responsible for the closure of MAC for the last one month.
The protesters said that due to the closure of Medical Aid Centre, children and pregnant woman were facing manifold problems. They urged the concerned Minister to personally look into the matter and take necessary action.
Protestors were led by Yash Pal and addressed by Chunni Lal, Nilam Devi, Barfi Devi, Savitri Devi, Krishan Singh and Raj Singh.
