RAJOURI, Aug 10: In an effort to curb the menace illicit liquor trade, Kandi police arrested one person and recovered 13 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
Official sources said that during checking the police from Kandi, recovered 13 bottles of Rum from the possession of Mohd Zarait, son of Talib Hussain, hailing from Kewal village in Budhal.
In this regard, case FIR No. 101/2025 under relevant sections of the Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kandi and investigation is underway.
