RAJOURI, July 25: A villager was died of lightning in Kotranka area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that at around 7.30 am today, one Mohd Ashfaq (22), son of Chandi, resident of Sarah in Kandi sector of Kotranka, was killed due to lightning. He was moving near his fields in the morning when the tragedy struck. Amidst thundershower, he was hit by a strong beam of light from the sky and was killed on the spot.
