SAMBA, Sept 9: Vijaypur Police has recovered a missing woman from Kathua today.
According to a handout issued by District Police Samba a written complaint was received at P/S Vijaypur from one Sachin Singh S/O Kulwant Singh R/O Rajinder Singh Pura Vijaypur stating therein that his wife namely, Sunita Kumari 21, (name changed) went for her bank job as per daily routine but did not return later.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 34 dated 06.09.2017 was registered at P/S Vijaypur and search started to trace out the missing woman. with the assistance of technical team, A police party from P/S Vijaypur headed by Inspector Suraj Pathania SHO Vijaypur under the direct supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur and under overall supervision of Anil Magotra, KPS SSP Samba has traced out the missing woman from Kathua and handed over to her legal heirs. The missing report has been closed accordingly. The police party was also assisted by a technical team.
It may be recalled that Vijaypur Police has succeeded in tracing out three missing persons within a week.
