SAMBA, July 28: In its ongoing efforts to weed out crime from the society, Samba police has arrested three gamblers under the jurisdiction of Police Station, Vijaypur and recovered stake money of Rs 2500/- from their possession.
Reports said that acting on specific information, a Police Party of P/S Vijaypur raided the gambling spot at Thandi Khui near Petrol Pump, Vijaypur & arrested three gamblers along with stake money of Rs. 2500 and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Uttam Chand, S/o Ram Dayal , Pappu S/o Jag Mohan and Varinder S/o Kamlesh all R/o Kherowa, Dhammu, Madhya Pardesh, A/P Thandi Khui near Petrol Pump, Vijaypur.
Taking cognizance of the matter, all the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at P/S Vijaypur.
