JAMMU, Feb 18: Prominent businessman Vijay Saraf, known for his multifaceted business interests, was unanimously elected as the Secretary of the prestigious Amar Singh Club, in a meeting held here today.
The meeting was attended by the newly elected Executive Committee members.
Saraf, who had secured the highest number of votes in the recently concluded Executive Committee elections, was elected to the key post in the presence of Ramesh Kumar, vice-president of the Club.
Notably, he had contested the elections along with other members as part of “Team Vijay Saraf” and was elected as an Executive Member before being chosen as Secretary.
Saraf has previously served the Club as Secretary in earlier committees.
During his tenure, the Club witnessed significant development and renovation works, many of which continue to be appreciated by members.
The Executive Committee members present during the meeting lauded Saraf’s leadership skills and his commitment to the Club’s growth.
They expressed confidence that the pace of development and overall functioning of the Club would be further enhanced under his stewardship.
Presenting his vote of thanks, Saraf expressed gratitude to the Executive Committee members for reposing their faith in him.
He assured them that he would work tirelessly towards the Club’s development and uphold the trust placed in him.
Saraf also thanked Ramesh Kumar, vice-president, for his vision and guidance in the day-to-day affairs of the Club.
Among others who were present during the meeting included Sahil Mahajan, Rajesh Langer, Ajay Anand, Tania Kukreja, Manish Gupta, Nitika Bhandari, Viplove Gupta, Manmohan Singh, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Viraaj Malhotra, Dr Anil Mahajan, Anita Jagjeet Kumari, Seema Shekhar Khajuria and Anil Kapahi.
