JAMMU, May 11: A book entitled as ‘Vicharatarang’ written by Prof Ved Kumari Ghai, President Awardee and an eminent Sanskrit scholar, has been released here today by Jammu-Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti.
Prof Priyatam Chand Shastri, former Principal Rashtra Sanskrit Sansthan Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion.
S. Deedar Singh, President Jammu-Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti welcomed the guests and literary personalities.
Introductory paper about book was presented by Dr Aruna Sharma.
Many prominent persons including literary personalities were present on the occasion and they highlighted the contributions of Prof Ghai in the field of literature.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Neeru Sharma, Prof Ram Pratap and others.
A multilingual Kavi Ghosthi was also held on this occasion.
