JAMMU, Dec 14: Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu Prof RD Sharma today launched the official website of Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu www.udhampurcampus.in.
Prof Hardeep Chahal, Rector, Udhampur Campus and Dr Gurmeet Singh from University of South Pacific, Fiji were also present. The website has been designed by Ideogram Technology Solutions Private Limited, which is a Jammu based website designer.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sharma said that it is a matter of great satisfaction that Udhampur Campus, an offsite campus of University of Jammu is making sincere efforts to grow and achieve high academic excellence in the years to come. He added that they have already travelled a long way in starting this campus, yet many milestones are still to be covered for its overall development. But given the devotion and commitment of Udhampur Campus staff, the day is not far when our vision of making this a prestigious institution will be accomplished, he added.
Prof Hardeep Chahal apprised all that the website has been launched to keep the students and their guardians around the country abreast with the academic and extracurricular achievements and serene environment of the campus. She also gave a brief overview of the website.
On the occasion, the faculty members of both the Departments of Commerce and Economics, Udhampur Campus including Dr Neetu Kumari, Pradeep Kumar, Mamta Sharma, Taruna Dubey, Jhanvi Khanna, Dr Shilpa Gupta, Deepti Abrol, Dr Kamani Dutta and Ritika Sambyal were also present.
