RAJOURI, Dec 21: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Advocate Vibodh Gupta visited Munsiff Court Thannamandi and inaugurated chambers constructed for lawyers, for which funds were released under CDF of MLC in the last week of October.
President Bar Association Thannamandi said that the pro-active approach and broad vision can take a man towards excellence and the continuing with developmental agenda in mind with public participation is actually being dealt under the leadership of MLC in efficient manner.
Gupta in his address said that it is a platitude that the legal profession is considered the first among all professions. Men and women who find themselves in this profession are regarded as people of sound reasoning powers and judgement. Lawyers are the cream and conscience of human society. That is why when lawyers speak, people think twice, he added.
He also visited the house of Fareed Ahmed and showed his sympathy and concern. It is pertinent to mention that house of Fareed Ahmed gutted in fire two days back due to LPG cylinder blast. Gupta also provided an amount of Rs 1 lakh as immediate assistance to the family under CDF. Gupta said that he will also take up the matter with the District Administration for providing Rs 20 lakh as compensation for reconstruction of house.
Gupta assured the people that Fire Service Station will be established at Thannamandi shortly, to meet out any untoward eventuality in the area.
Gupta also interacted with general public at Azmatabad and discussed several matters regarding availability of different facilities. He assured the public that all the areas of the State would be provided all basic facilities at their door steps. Several deputations and individuals from various parts of Thannamandi area met the MLC and brought their problems into his notice. Responding to the demands raised by deputations, Gupta assured them that he would take up the issues with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
Ghani Shawl, Mandal Pardhan, BJP activists and social workers namely Zahid Ahmed, Amjad Khan, Qazi Khalil Ahmed, Lali Baba and many others were present on the occasion.
