RAJOURI, Jan 25: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MLC Vibodh Gupta today addressed a public gathering in Dassal, Rajouri, where he lauded the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and highlighted that the BJP’s vibrant democratic structure empowers grassroot leaders to rise to the highest ranks of the party.
In his address, Vibodh underscored the historic elevation of Nitin Nabin as the youngest national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), noting that this moment reflects the BJP’s merit-based democratic ethos where committed leaders from the grassroot can ascend to national leadership on the strength of their work and public trust.
“In the BJP, even the Prime Minister stands as a disciplined Karyakarta while in the Congress, the party president is nothing more than a remote-controlled figure of one family. This stark contrast exposes the real difference in ideology”, he added.
Vibodh highlighted the dynastic culture in the opposition especially in Indian National Congress, asserting that while the BJP nurtures leaders based on merit and service, the Congress has remained dominated by a single family’s influence, which he said has impeded its ability to produce strong and competent national leadership.
Highlighting Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat, Vibodh said that the mission is not a slogan but a comprehensive roadmap for transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. He underlined that landmark schemes such as PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ujjwala Yojana, and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) have ensured last-mile delivery, transparency, and inclusive growth.
