RAJOURI, Aug 7: The police today seized a vehicle loaded with nine bovine animals in Nowshera area while smuggler managed to escape.
Official sources said that at around 7 am, a police naka party from Nowshera Police Station intercepted a Tata mobile vehicle No. JK11B/9450 at Thalka on Jammu-Poonch highway. While driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot, the police seized the vehicle along with nine milch animals loaded in it.
The police registered a case FIR No. 157/2021 at Police Station Nowshera in this connection and started investigation. The cattle were rescued by police.
