RAJOURI, Jan 14: The police arrested a bovine smuggler and rescued 6 animals from his possession and also seized a vehicle in Manjakote area..
As per reports, a special Naka was laid on Hyatpura link road by a team from Police Station Manjakote by SHO, Imran Khan under the supervision of SDPO Shahid Nahiem. The Naka party intercepted a Bolero vehicle bearing No. JK13D- 8453 on way from Rajouri to to Surankote.
Upon checking, six bovine animals were found loaded without valid permission of the competent authority. Driver of the vehicle, namely Gulzaib Ahmed, son of Mohd ishaq, resident of Fazlabad, Surankote was apprehended.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 04/2026 was registered at Manjakote Police Station.
