RAJOURI, June 2: The police seized a vehicle loaded with six bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir via Mughal Road in Rajouri district last night.
Official sources said that a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Registration No. JK 11A- 2441 was signalled to stop at naka checking point, Potha by police party of Kalakote. The driver stopped the vehicle at some distance and fled away from the spot.
During checking police team found 6 bovines animals tied with ropes and rescues the cattle. On this a case FIR No 45/2022 U/S 188/IPC, 11 PC Act registered at Police Station, Kalakote.
