KISHTWAR, Jan 20: A vehicle fell into river Chenab here at Chattar Pull, Warlda this evening.
Police sources informed that the ill fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06B-2998 was of Bolero Pickup make and it fell into River Chenab about 100 feet down at Chattar Pull, Warlda.
Immediately after the accident Police and other rescuers started search for the vehicle and its driver but due to darkness the search was stopped.
The vehicle was being driven by Ajay Kumar, 22, son of Des Ram, resident of Shandri Kuntwara. Both the driver and the vehicle remained untraced till last reports.
