KISHTWAR, Nov 4: A Village Defence Committee (VDC) member died due to fall from a hill in Pootinag area here.
As per police sources, a VDC member identified as Baru Khan, son of Mir Baz of Pootinag died due to fall from a hill near his native village when he was grazing his sheep.
The body of the victim was retrieved and shifted to hospital, where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
