JAMMU, Apr 7: In order to take stock of different student issues and to make functioning of the University of Jammu better and enhanced, Vice-Chancellor Prof R.D. Sharma had an interactive session with the elected student representatives from various departments of the University. Class representatives and Cultural Secretaries of different departments of the University also attended the session.
The VC called upon the students to pursue their academics and participate enthusiastically in making the university one of the best in the country both in terms of academics, research and cultural activities. He stressed on quality education and research and further asked students to maintain discipline.
During the interaction, it was also informed that to curb the problem of traffic and road congestion inside the campus, one way traffic system would soon be introduced. Suggestions were also invited for further improving the University’s ranking at the national level.
