JAMMU, Jan 10: BJP national secretary and MLA R S Pura, Dr. Narinder Singh today said that the VB-G RAM (G) scheme marks a historic milestone in the transformation of rural India under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Talking to reporters here along with Jammu district South vice president, Diva Jain, district secretary, Vijay Sharma, and other party officials, he highlighted that the scheme aims to empower farmers, agricultural laborers, and rural communities by directly delivering employment and livelihood opportunities through the Visit Bharat Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission (Rural) Act, 2025.
Showing concern over misinformation propagated by opposition parties, including the Congress, Dr. Singh clarified that the scheme represents a transparent and corruption-free approach. He pointed out that previous systems allowed funds meant for the poor to be diverted to corrupt leaders and contractors.
VB-G RAM (G) is designed to ensure rightful money reaches the intended beneficiaries, making it a revolutionary reform in rural employment.
Dr. Narinder Singh described the VB-G RAM (G) Act as landmark legislation that not only guarantees maximum employment but also focuses on the creation of permanent assets in rural areas, thus fostering sustainable development. He positioned the scheme as a transformative alternative to existing rural employment programs like MGNREGA, aligning with the broader vision of a developed India by 2047.
“The core spirit of the VB-G RAM (G) Act, 2025, is rooted in transparency, employment assurance, and rural asset creation,” Dr. Singh stated. “This Act will lay a strong foundation for realizing the vision of Visit Bharat, strengthening India’s rural economy and uplifting millions of lives.”
