JAMMU, May 12: Various organisations have commended the role of national leadership and Armed forces for their decisive action against the terror.
Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust (PNBMT) in a meeting passed a resolution expressing profound appreciation for the exemplary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, especially in the aftermath of the tragic events in Pahalgam and the subsequent bold and effective military operations launched under his guidance.
The Trust lauded the Government for its unflinching and determined stance against terrorism. Members commended Modi for steering the country through a difficult and emotionally charged period, with resolve and strategic foresight. The Trust emphasized that the uncompromising position taken by India has yielded tangible results—most notably the neutralization of Pakistan-based terrorist infrastructure.
The Core Group also addressed the recent unwarranted trolling of India’s Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri, who is at the forefront as the spokesperson of Operation Sindoor. The members expressed their unequivocal support for Misri, calling him an “illustrious son of the soil” and a distinguished diplomat with an unblemished record of service, integrity, and brilliance.
Panun Kashmir (PK) registers its strongest condemnation of the orchestrated and malicious online campaign targeting Vikram Misri, the Foreign Secretary. This trolling not only undermines the dignity of a senior civil servant but also constitutes an attack on the very institutions tasked with safeguarding India’s strategic and national interests, PK chairman Dr Ajay Chrungoo and senior vice chairman, Shailendra Aima said.
Vikram Misri is one of India’s most accomplished diplomats, having served the nation with distinction and impeccable integrity for over three decades including Ambassador to China during an exceptionally critical period (2019–2022). His record of service includes advising three Prime Ministers, I.K. Gujral, Dr. Manmohan Singh, and Narendra Modi in the capacity of advisor, followed by a crucial tenure as Deputy National Security Advisor. As Foreign Secretary, he is currently at the forefront of shaping India’s global posture.
It is deplorable that at a time of national crisis and heightened security challenges, fringe elements are allowed to run coordinated smear campaigns against one of India’s topmost diplomat, PK said.
Youth 4 Panun Kashmir, has congratulated Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for the bold and decisive execution of Operation Sindoor, which eliminated over 100 terrorists and struck deep into Pakistan’s terror infrastructure.
In a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister, the organisation hailed the operation as a long-overdue response to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and called upon the Government to now take the next essential steps to protect India’s sovereignty and national security.
It urged PM to formally declare Pakistan a terrorist State under Indian law, issue stern, non-negotiable directives to Pakistan to extradite the wanted terrorists including Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar, Syed Salahuddin, Sheikh Sajjad Gul, mastermind of the April 22 Pahalgam attack and several targeted killings, currently sheltered in Rawalpindi.
They said These terrorists and their organisations were directly responsible for repeated attacks on India’s sovereignty and unabated genocide of the Kashmiri Pandits.
The organisation further demanded immediate suspension of all diplomatic and cultural ties with Pakistan until it dismantles its terror networks and recognition of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide, time-bound, Constitutionally guaranteed rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus in separate and secured Homeland.
Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has also strongly condemned the trolling of Foreign Secretary, Vikram Misri and his family.
In a statement issued here, today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said Misri is a committed, capable and honest diplomat who has served the nation with integrity and professionalism. He was carrying his official duties based on directives of elected Government of the country. “To abuse him and single him out for a national level policy decision is unjust, unacceptable and deeply unfortunate’’, Kashmiri added.
