KARGIL, Jan 15 : Various delegations called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, here today.
A delegation of JCB owners, led by Gulzar Hussain, raised issues regarding services rendered during an operation carried out by the Army.
Another delegation, represented by Mohammad Ali from Yurbaltak, sought financial assistance and work opportunities due to his disability.
A delegation comprising agricultural landowners from Pashkum highlighted issues related to land.
Another group of ice hockey players from Pashkum, led by Sajjad Hussain, requested construction of a new ice hockey practice ground.
A single mother from Pashkum sought financial aid for her disabled child’s treatment.
President, BJP Unit Kargil, Assadullah Munshi, submitted memorandums on various key issues.
While interacting with the delegations, LG Kavinder Gupta emphasised the UT Administration’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Ladakh, with special focus on education, health and tourism sectors.
ADC Kargil Imteeaz Kacho and SSP Kargil Kargil Nitin Yadav were also present during the meetings.
